Hints that Sope might have given us
I see a lot of analysis of many ships, but unfortunately thereās not many proper Yoonseok/Sope ones. Some of those analysis consist of content like āin this video those two members breathe the same air, therefore they must be in loveā. I wanted to point out things other than āthey looked at each other like thisā or āhe touched him like thatā. The things Iām going to list below are usually talked about by my fellow Yoonseok shippers, who pay attention to those two. Iām sure those things would probably raise more eyebrows, if they concerned someone else (because Sope is such a bro ship). Iām not claiming that I know for sure what all of that means. Iām not claiming that I know their thoughts and feelings. This may be just wishful thinking on my part, but Bangtan is all about clues and hidden meanings. Maybe, just maybe, they took that approach to their personal lives as well. (If you condemn shipping, or you dislike this particular ship, then, please, donāt come @ me. Iāll gladly discuss this, but Iām not gonna react to insults - and that happened to me before, because I dare ship Yoonseok. If you have nothing constructive to say, then just donāt.)
1. Creating the ship name
I know that some other pairings have used ship/team names before, but Sope took it to another level with their orange tracksuits, and with Yoongi mentioning Sope or Sobi any chance he gets. Seriously, why does he feel the need to talk about it so much? Heās like me, when I have a crush and I want to talk about them without being obvious but fail š
2. Matching outfits
Speaking of their tracksuits, they sometimes wear matching clothes. I know, that this might be for entertainment purposes only, but honestly, why would they even bother to match? I donāt want to overreact and read too much into it, but we all know that in Korean society itās common for couples to wear matching stuff.
3. This V LIVE
Itās not about the live itself, because the members do them in pairs a lot. Itās about the damn emoji. Out all of the emojis, why would they choose the one with two boys and a heart? šØāā¤ļøāšØ I know Iām not the only one asking myself that question.
4. Hwagae Market
There were some posts explaining what Hwagae Market is and what meaning it holds.

Now, we donāt know if they actually ment this meaning, but they discussed something like this once before in one of their early logs, when they spoke about going to see cherry blossoms.
5. #soulpartners
We all know that Yoongi used that hashtag in his birthday twitter post for Hobi. I feel like this means more than āsoulmateā, because āpartnerā gives a sense of equality despite the age difference. He called Hoseok his soul partner again in Run ep. 16. The vlive translation says āHeās my partnerā, but Yoongi actually used the word āsoulā as well (I noticed that after comparing what he said with the hashtag, I donāt speak Korean, I can only read Hangul). I saw gifset with proper translation somewhere. (pls link it if you know where to find it)
6. August 16th
We all know that Yoongi had declared this date a J-Hope day. Itās definitely special for Yoongi for a good reason. That day in 2016 he released his mixtape. It was the day when he bared his heart and soul, he came clean about his hardships and pain he had endured. Again, I donāt know if he chose that day on purpose or not, but if I were Hoseok Iād feel pretty freaking special.
7. Hobiās birthday thread for Yoongi
The members like to post some throwback photos in their birthday tweets for each other, but last year Hoseok definitely overdid himself by posting seven; every picture marking one year they spent together. I donāt know about you, but for me it feels like some sort of sappy anniversary shit. Well done, Hobi š
Iām gonna stop here, itās long already. Again, Iām not saying that I know stuff, because I donāt. Those are just some things that only happened to Yoonseok. Whatever they actually mean, we may never know.
