A poem for me.
The slow beat of a heart In the morning... When the sun rose, And wind blew Those fragile leaves Away from their homes. The steady beat of a heart In the noon... When the sun was high, And the birds screamed The melody of freedom And despair. The furious beat of a heart During the day... When the sun was warm And thoughts clouded With words and phrases None will remember for long. The nervous beat of a heart In the evening... When the sun had already set And the coast was clear I could hear the whispers From the day that disappeared. The sharp beat of a heart When the moon was high And all the stars were missing, And the wind blew slowly And all the thoughts had gathered To let me know... ——— I can't write poems for shit...
