Yondu fin test success!! I designed the fin to be removable from the base for easier travel to and from events. I had to trim this print down a little to make the plugs all fit together but so far so good! I haven't even installed the magnets yet and it's holding up really well. I am so pleased! . . At the moment I am offering the 3d file for sale on my etsy shop but I'm still pondering whether or not to sell prints directly. As you can see, I have to print this in 7 pieces. Until I upgrade my printer that's just the way it is 😁 . Leave it to me to decide it would save time to start over with a build. 😭😂but it's OK, because it's SOOOO much better now! This new model is in 2 pieces to allow for my client to drive to and from events without worrying about the fin being too tall to sit in a car 🚗. The base is glued to the wearer's head and the fin is held on with many magnets. . I'll be printing this over the next couple of days so I'll keep you all posted! .
