Design

I have a real soft spot for simple UTAU designs like this. It made a very good impression on me. My favorite parts are his hair and glasses, which really set him apart from an otherwise "basic" outfit. The colors are very well chosen. All in all, not a design that will amaze you, but it isn't bad.

First Impressions

Yoken is a pretty simple monopitch CV, a practical choice for the first voicebank from Poku. He does stand out a little bit due to his low-ranged voice.

Configuration

His configuration generally won't give the average user trouble, but there are quite a few issues with the oto. A few of them are incorrect, such as "sho," "ko," "ni," and "re." These problems could be fixed by an experienced UTAU user, however. But, a few problems also exist in the recordings. There are mic pops on almost every sample that has "k" or "t," which gives Yoken a lot of volume inconsistencies. Some of his vowels are also unnaturally quiet. There are also a few samples with background noise that unfortunately gets distorted in UTAU.

Ease of Use

His voice type can easily fill many roles in a song. Workarounds for some of his issues may be difficult, but it is possible.
