The humble, yet scatterbrained and nervous Kyo runs Porkbelly's general store, where he sells all sorts of items that he got from traveling the world. A bit of a nervous wreak, Kyo can be a bit skittish at times, but he's absolutely filled to the brim with determination, always wanting to find the highest quality items for his customers.

Arashi the Nightmare Beast

Whom ever crosses the path of this terrible Nue is cursed with horrific nightmares, driving even the most noble to madness. He travel through the land disguised as a thunder storm, instilling fear in both man and beast.  His mortal enemies are the baku as they are the only ones who are able to cure the afflicted from his nightmares.

Yama Uba - 

Old hags and witches from Japanese folklore, Yama Uba are usually found wandering forest and mountain paths. They appear as kind old ladies. Some have horns or fangs, but normally they look like ordinary old women.  Yama Uba were once human but were transformed into monsters. Sometimes they are created when a young woman accused of a crime flees to the wilderness. Life in exile eventually transforms her into a Yama Uba as she grows older. In other stories a Yama Uba is created when a family leaves an elderly female relative in the wilderness to die because they can no longer afford to feed her. The elderly woman then transforms into a Yama Uba out of rage or desperation.

Yama Uba live alone in huts by the road, offering shelter and food to any weary travellers. Late at night while her guests are asleep she reveals her true form, that of an ugly witch. She then kills her guests, cooks them and devours them. In some stories the guest is lucky enough to wake up and escape the  Yama Uba before they can be eaten. 

Tsuchigumo - 

A spider monster from Japanese folklore, Tsuchigumo are believed to be found all over the Japanese islands and throughout the rest of the world. They are spiders that have lived lives long enough to turn into yokai and grow to a monstrous size, which allows them to catch larger prey, like humans.  Tsuchigumo live in forests and mountains in silk tubes which they ambush their prey from as it passes by. 

Tsuchigumo rely on illusions and trickery to deceive humans into letting down their guard. In some tales they will transform themselves into humans in order to administer venom real humans in the form of medicine or food. The  Tsuchigumo  has been known to have bigger goals that simply eating people. They have been known to create armies of other Tsuchigumo, usually their hundreds of offspring, or other yokai and disguise themselves as humans to start wars.
