#yikes man...

he’s had to brush off a couple different offers to dance on his way over, all lovely young ladies being held at the shoulders by their parents. it isn’t that he doesn’t want to dance, but  --  he’s never been too good at the social niceties. there is some benefit to marrying him, yes, but he couldn’t tell you what it is. and therefore, it must not be much of a benefit ! he’s left jane to speak to their hosts. what he lacks in subtlety is more than made up by confidence ; he says what he thinks, much to his family’s chagrin, and what he thinks is the prince looks bored to tears.  “ you strike me as someone who has never been satisfied. ”
