Arnault: Favorite piece of music?
The Spirit Dias, aka Sothisā theme! Itās so haunting and ethereal, but also strangely peaceful, and I love all the tones in the background and the soft chanting of the chorus. I could listen to it for hours.... my second favorite track would be God Shattering Star though, because I am a person who breathes so yeah, I like that one a lot too!!
Gautier: Favorite supports?

Full disclosure.... I feel like I could just fill this entire section with Mercedes supports. Sheās such a wonderful individual, and though it feels odd to phrase it exactly like this, but Mercedes just saves everyone. All of her supports, she can find the good and the wonder and the faith and the hope in everyone itās just... sheās a powerful character with the ability to reach the heart into people like that. Some standouts imo are Sylvain, Ingrid, and Dedue with her, though like I said, I could just fill this entire section with her supports.
Another favorite would definitely be Dedue and Asheās. Though I now ship them, I did not originally, and the content of their supports is wholesome and heartrending whichever stance you take on them- romantic or platonic. They are people who understand each otherās quite different but still quite similar grief in powerful ways, and they share several interests which allows them activities they enjoy and bond over together. Their friendship is clearly so important to the both of them for the unique perspectives it offers, and the ability to heal and grow is so strong there. And Iād be lying if their A support didnāt make me tear up as well dkgndkjgdgn
I suppose I canāt do a support list without mentioning Felix. Anyone who had even breathed in me or my blogās direction knows that my love for this fool is fathomless. He is unique within the game for the high amount of A supports and endings he has- 10 female I believe and two male. (Compare that real quick to Sylvain who is on the complete opposite end, with only 5 paired endings, four female and one male (Felix).) Iām working very hard to get as many of Felixās supports as I can hahaha, and Iāve seen a fair few of them at this point, so I can say with a decent amount of knowledge and expertise what are the favorites.Ā
Setethās is the first that comes to mind. Despite that thereās only a C and B support for them, what is accomplished between the two is incredible. Seteth basically helps Felix to rationalize and realize that itās okay to love his friends and all the emotions that come attached with it; Seteth doesnāt get much out of this support (other than to continue demonstrating that heās a deeply wise individual and a wonder elder brother figure) but this support feels integral to Felixās emotional growth, especially in the second half of the game.Ā
More favorites are Annette and Lysitheaās. What I loved to discover was that though Felix is still rather sarcastic and smarmy in nearly all of his supports, his ones with the people he has no prior relationship with are... light-hearted, and show other sides of him. It demonstrates his full capacity as a character- heās not edgy for no reason, especially not towards people who have done nothing to him. He talks about sweets with Lysithea, and enjoys Annetteās singing; he interacts with these girls with curiosity and an openess that is so sweet to see. I love to see my boy happy.Ā ā§ĀŗĀ·(Ė ĖĢ£Ģ£Ģ„āĖĢ£Ģ£Ģ„ )ā§ĀŗĀ·Ė And itās terrible to say that heās not happy that often- many of his closest bonds no longer make him happy. And as much work that I, as the player, go through to salvage those bonds, itās so nice to see him interacting and becoming close to others with that lightheartedness, where his kind nature can show itself more readily without years of baggage or prior knowledge weighing on him.Ā
Which brings me to the final one Iāll talk about for now. Dimitri and Felix, the famed soured relationship. I knew going into the game that whatever was between them was going to be a fucking doozy, but oh, it was worse than I ever could have imagined. Looking through the rosters that first time and reading up on everyoneās timelines and life events, the pieces were already falling into place when I found out about Glenn, the Tragedy, and the western rebellion. I immediately went to work getting the boysā support level up so I could further dig into it; I actually got them up so quickly I had them ready for their A support by the time I was halfway through the school year. Anyways, my first consensus on my feelings about their supports was... disappointed, actually. I wanted more- an A+ support for sure, but also a broader range of discussion in all areas. But with retrospect and some time to think, Iāve reached a new conclusion: their supports are very indicative of them. Itās the things not seen and not heard that are whatās most important. The things we witness in their supports are the context with which we apply all their other interactions to. We canāt take things at face value, because Felix doesnāt always say what he means and Dimitri doesnāt always say the things he should, and both characters realize this about each other because even after all these years, that is something that still rings true. But in the end, they ultimately arenāt creatures of words. Dimitri needs words, but is a person of action at the end of the day, just as Felix is. And Felixās love for Dimitri is so overwhelming apparent once I realized these things. I believe that when considering them as a whole, itās important to consider teenage Felix and adult Felix separately, but there is love in every action- even when its also so terribly intermixed with grief and sadness and hate. But thatās just them. That is what they have become. My final note on the subject: though I was sad that there wasnāt an A+ support for them, I feel this too is indicative of them as a pair. All they need is that one conversation to begin healing. Itās all they need to be ready to devote themselves entirely to each other once again.
An honorable mention for this list is Hubert and Ferdinandās. Iāve not actually unlocked it myself as Iāve not played a BE run, but itās so cute and theyāre prep/goth vampire solidarity, we stan the drink boyfriends.
Macneary: Favorite paired endings?
Oof, I havenāt unlocked that many yet, and Iāve purposely kept myself from looking up too many of them but??? I guess Iād say Hubert and Ferdinandās, Flayn and Setethās, Dedue and Ashe, Dedue and Dimitri (though I canāt exactly ship them, this ending is so sweet dkjgndjg), Sylvain and Mercedes, Dedue and Mercedes, Felix and Dimitri, Felix and Annette, Felix and Leonie (that mlm and wlw solidarity hahahah), Claude and Lorenz, and Claude and Hilda.
