my first playthrough will be with my Rook, Nephele. she will be a rogue Antivan Crow. (still deciding between duelist or veil ranger, though duelist looks super fun from what i’ve seen)

her clan was attacked when she was a child, leaving her alone for a while, and being picked up by the Crows shortly after. i know they have backstories, but i’ll just weave mine in with theirs and make it work lol. she found out her parents are alive when she’s in her 20s and writes to them when she can, both to try and build that relationship, and learn about Dalish history and culture. poor thing never got her valleslin though. she can be standoffish and cold to strangers due to her trust issues. she loves to sing, but never in front of others. her fav snack is sweet stuff, especially peaches.

she’s more straightforward and direct the majority of the time, and only occasionally sarcastic, so it’ll be fun choosing those options, then bracing for the consequences the first time around.

she’ll be romancing Davrin. he’s been my first planned romance since i’ve seen him, and all the info we’ve learned has solidified it even more as a perfect choice for her. so interested in how his romance will be, especially since i haven’t seen anything mentioning it.

i’m still working out the details of how she would feel towards Solas, since she’s so SO curious about Dalish history since she was denied those teachings as a child, only to be thrown into this whole mess of things, which just confuses her even more.
