Ezra to Yelda

Yelda calls Ezra "Lokna" (Lock nuh), which means "Blueberry" in Ooulani.

Yelda is without a doubt, beautiful. She has caught the eye of many members of Phoenix Squadron, so Ezra goes out of his way to kiss her in semi-public areas, and call Yelda "My wife" or even "Mrs. Psys-Bridger" rather than by name, just to broadcast to everyone: Yep. I got the hottest girl here! Who's the loser now?! And Yelda is oblivious to the reasons; she just thinks Ezra's being sweet and adorable.

"Yeah! Run away! Just like you always do when things get too difficult for you!" That hit him just right. He clenched his fists; turned on his heel. "AND THERE YOU GO POINTING OUT EVERYONE ELSE'S FLAWS AS IF YOU HAVEN'T ANY!" Her anger morphed into a mixture of shock and pain. Good. He thought, though his own heart pained. Neither of them said anything for a long while. And in that time he was able to calm down. "Yels, I'm sorry. I shouldn't've said that." He apologized, his voice trying for a kinder tone. "No; don't be sorry, you're right. You always are." He smiled. "Maybe we could-" "Yelda, you... You have to understand: I can't stay here." He managed. Trying to find the right words as not to hurt her. "I never wanted any of this; I never asked for any of this: Jedi, Senator, General, husband..." "Father." She said, her eyes puffy and red. He nodded slowly. "I'll admit, none of this is what I had in mind either, but you have to understand-" "No. I... I can't. That's what I've been trying to tell you!" She turned her head to him, and with a hard expression, she said: "You can't... Or you won't?"

Ezra has night terrors, and something that helps to calm him down is Yelda's singing.

Yelda: Well I never said they were an ideal couple!
