It had been quite a few decades since he’d last saw the vampire that stood not too far away from him. It was difficult to hear what the man was saying, considering the crowd between the two of them, but it wasn’t difficult for Xander to recognize the presence of yet another vampire that had been given immortality by him. Xander never considered turning anyone to be a mistake, but it was high on his list of “questionable acts” to say the least. Sometimes, he thought people deserved second chances at life, which is why he approached the younger vampire without second thought. “Yevgeni,” he didn’t have to say the other’s name very loud, he knew the man would hear him. Xander waited for the other vampire to turn around, a small grin tugging at his mouth, “You’re here.”

Liam still wasn’t entire sure what had possessed him to show up to this party. Honestly, he felt ridiculous in the all-white outfit he had put together, however, if he was supposed to be trying to socialize more, how could he pass up what was supposed to be one of the biggest parties of the summer? He couldn’t. So he showed, dressed in all white and feeling more then a little awkward as he tugged at his sleeves and tried to remind himself that everyone was dressed just as brightly as he was right now. However, even without that, the dress shirt and pants were far from Liam’s usual wardrobe. He’d been dirt poor even before finishing his childhood as a foster kid and then being tossed out to fend for himself at eighteen. If he wasn’t in his uniform, he was in jeans. While he didn’t mind the button up as much, he was never one for bright colors and white was just begging for stains that would ruin the clothes he had spent good money on. All in all, he wasn’t sure when the last time he had felt more uncomfortable was. “Maybe this wasn’t a good idea.” he muttered, mostly to himself.
