babs and cass coffee shop au: (babs pov) in which barbara notices a girl who keeps dumpster diving behind her favorite coffee shop and ends up helping cass with david cain problems, slow burn found family style with spy stuff and murder mystery!!
barista steph: (steph pov) in which steph works at a coffee shop instead of/adjacent to being spoiler (arthur is still cluemaster) and batman's one of the regulars (steph thinks he hates her, he respects her for her mad barista skills or more likely being one of the only people willing to make his crazy orders without hesitation,) angst and identity drama galore!! i think this is a robin steph origin story :))
bonus!! an arrowfam coffee shop au: (connor pov) barista connor who gives free treats to mia who stops by when she can and one day ollie comes in and connor recognizes him but ollie has no idea who he is (trying to figure out if it would be possible for connor to not recognize roy so he can be a regular that connor is friends with and talks about how he wants to find his bio dad with and neither roy nor ollie knows that the other goes to this coffee shop because i loveeee drama)
anyways, thank you so so so much for giving me an excuse to ramble!!! i love love love love love brainstorming and chatting about fic concepts and ideas, and if allowed i could talk probably forever!!!! i hope that one day (currently in wip mines) im able to get around to writing one of these!!

as much as i love joe keery, and no one else could’ve played steve harrington (steve would’ve been a 1 season antagonist that never appeared again without him) but, i think because joe is, like, 30 now, people forget how young steve is. like he’s still 18/19. that’s how old the actors for the kids are!! like noah is 18 (i think), which is literally steve! he should still be all gangly and have baby fat, and be growing into his face. like he’s still a teenager! and i think he gets treated and seen as an adult because of the fact that a 30 year old man plays him.
and obviously this happens with all the teens! jonathan, eddie, nancy and robin are all played by someone in their mid to late 20s, and it means people forget just how young they are. like people talk about the kids being so young all the time, but 17/18/19 is still really little!! and it means people criticise them for making normal teenage mistakes because they expect them to behave like rational adults.
The Man, The Myth, The Mystery
Okay, my last anonymous ask and I seem to be the only ones concerned with this man-
Why is that people, that this guy just comes out of nowhere, introduces himself as a suitor sent by Rachel to Miss Stacey only to be never spoken of again!! What fuckery! You don't introduce a good looking, sensible man for Miss Stacey and then forget about it. I had thought he would come by the school for the dance practice.. didn't but nevermind Caleb was very good in that scene. Then, I thought he would arrive in the fair but didn't. Why I'm already worried about almost all the storylines going on.. and this random guy comes to bug me some more. But how random is he? I'm probably clowning but it's very likely that he will reappear. Theories?
I think that he and Miss Stacy are already courting but that theory is whack, don't mind me lol
How about when he does reappear, he turns out to be exactly Miss Stacey's type and they hit it off and then they get married. Caleb and Rachel would be crushed tho.
Or they seem to be fond of each other but he wants something from her that she just can't agree to and they break it off.
Or Miss Stacey chooses her independence and carefree life better than him.
Or it turns out he's been lying this whole time and Rachel didn't even send him in the first place, considering the tone of this season, this might as well happen.
Or he's related to one of the characters and just comes in handy to solve a minor problem just coz he was present there with Miss Stacey. Maybe a lawyer, activist, doctor, magistrate or something.
Add any theories of yours about who this guy might be and I'm all ears.
Edit: The actor isn't listed in the cast too. Even the uncredited roles are listed there. *Sigh*
Edit: He is credited as "Alfred" for only one episode, yikes.
