From the hints in the episode it would seem that the Doctor's been there/dealt with this material before -- was this in a previous episode that I haven't seen? One of the older DWs? Please explain if anyone nows, I haven't gotten around to watching them yet.
Wtf is going on with Rory? Is he just desperate to save this girl due to him being a nurse? Which is totally understandable and applaudable, he was just acting a bit weird about it all like he had some ulterior motive or something. Could have just been shoddy writing, not sure.

The Doctor was acting really OOC for most of the episode, too -- was he just unnerved by the feeling in his head of another Timelord or something because "he" was growing in the vat thing? Or just bad writing? Or is he feeling guilty for letting something happen in the past in which he couldn't save these people or something? He mentioned that this was a 'tipping' point, meaning a tipping point in time (same as the Hungry Earth shit etc), so does that mean it tipped the wrong way for him in the past and now he's desperate to change it?
Two Doctors again? Watch out for Jack, all I'm sayin'.
