The cool of the night warmed the man’s bones knowing that he’d be committed to actually attending the bar. Usually, his world revolved around a plan of sorts, or just having a bit of fun to get ahead. But, when it came to just EXISTING and being a person, Regis had little time for that. He didn’t like the attachment that people liked to bring, or even the significance of life when it really doesn’t have much meaning at all. The world would be simpler if people simply submitted to something, not going about and doing rash things. Planning was perfect. And his plan tonight was maybe to have a bit of fun. Or to just enjoy being around people who’s lives meant nothing in the grand scheme of life. It made his resolve all the greater.
A couple more steps from the chilly brisk air into a warm tavern with all respect of being modern. Or at least attempting to do so. His gaze was more than welcoming if interpreted correctly and without any care in the world he took a seat at the long bar. The time of night allowed for only the loyal patrons or future drunkards to actually show. The dead of night was the best cover for a night to enjoy himself. A wave at the bartender signaled a need to be recognized and order a drink. “What do you recommend? Something to…” He thought carefully, a bit of smile on his face “..set someone like me in a good mood. STRONG AND BOLD.” He nodded before locking eyes with the other.
