professional shooters from japan and france what a dream…

imagine if gide was a old pro athlete at the sport, unrivalled by anyone when it comes to pistols

and oda, the new athlete he notices at the opening ceremony… gide’s has his eye on him

he comes in and starts bowling over the competition effortlessly and boy he’s got gide’s attention alright

gide is practically convinced that he has to do battle with oda

oda on the other hand is like??? pls no i’m just here to shoot?? 

oda’s finding his own reasons to live through the sport and it’s fuelling gide’s own motivation that he hasn’t felt for years now

they just help one another without even trying

but gide is kinda obsessive when he really gets into something and that something just so happens to be odasaku

oda and his really gay thoughts thinking about how handsome their competition from france is

but also a bit leery at gide’s crazy eyes when he’s looking to do battle with oda it freaks him out a little… 

but gide also saving oda’s crippling self esteem and constantly telling him what a great shooter he is

(odasaku is an excellent shooter)

gide cheering for oda because he really wants to have them face off in the finals

finals, france vs. japan where gide goes all out against oda and they’re so goddang intense

(it ends with gide getting the silver while oda takes the gold)

spending the rest of their time before the end of the games chilling together and becoming great buddies

partying it up with their medals at the closing ceremony and having really sad but really solid farewells like... see you in four years
