i haven’t really been around the fandom recently and i figure this is my time to just formally exit. sorry if i never got to answering your question and stuff. life happens, people change, and i’ve found myself falling out of touch with bsd for a while now. i’ll come back and weep about my (dead) faves now and then, but take this as a last post for this account.

somewhere along the streets of dotonburi, the ‘famous curry’ from jiyuken can be found! their brand of curry rice is a little different from those you’ll see elsewhere, as it’s been mixed into the rice itself. they also top it off with a raw egg. the menu specifically states ‘oda sakunosuke’s favourite’.

anyway i only really wanted my silver wolf fuku and quack doctor mori backstory, so i’m super pleased that i’ve finally gotten it *v* i’m absolutely not up to date with the series anymore, but i’d really like to see fellow doctors yosano and mori’s relationship… like were they colleagues?? was she his student while she was studying to be a doctor?? we’ll never know

i also really want to see ango’s past in mimic but i know i’m actually never ever going to get that because one of them is dead but a man can dream right…

ah, i thought i put translation notes for this, but apparently i didn’t. it’s almost been a year since i translated dark era!! damn, time flies. 

right........... right................... i’m honestly still dead from the grandpa backstory that i’ve been basically begging for from the very beginning (i can’t believe quack doctor mori was accurate and real my crops were watered i was reborn etc)

part two of my escapades in tokyo - if any of you remember this special that i loosely translated, i took the opportunity to visit two of the places - umezono and kamiya bar! though i guess you can’t really call kamiya bar a bar bar, it was more like a cafeteria with old people getting drunk in the afternoon. denki bran has a similar consistency to jagermeisters, if anyone was curious. i’m honestly not surprised young akutagawa would get smashed with just one shot. it’s also ridiculously cheap for such potent alcohol (270 yen for a shot) 

greetings from tokyo! as some on twitter probably already know, i’m currently running around japan and so i took the chance to find this little gem of a place. wedged in an unnoticeable little alley in ginza. you’ll have to pardon the photo quality because my phone camera wasn’t built for low light scenarios.

i ordered a golden fizz (coincidentally written to be ango’s favourite) and if you can tell from that photo, i was actually seated in the corner - yes, the exact same corner that dazai used to chill in. how ironic. i was later moved inside to the very end which was right beside the photographs of the infamous trio (which was way too close for me to grab a picture of) and given a little matchbox and pamphlet of the place.

the place draws a really interesting crowd. i saw a share of fans having drinks and smokes there (one of them was in a bolo tie and an outfit that screams dazai, so there was that). very chill, very cool to be in, even as a regular customer with no knowledge of the series.
