Pup wonders if they’ve put too much faith in Sumi. It’s been weeks since they last saw her, and the full moon is slowly approaching. Striga’s still trying to break them, but they refuse to be a military dog. However, Pup is slowly losing themselves for they’re hungry and tired, zoning out into their happy place to ignore their surroundings before forcing themselves out of it. They refuse to let Striga win, but they’re running out of time and all Pup could do was wait for Sumi to return with the others.

And that’s what Pup hope for, to be back at the castle, to be safe with their pack. To hear the stories from Sypha of her travels, to spar and learn Trevor; and even though they’re still mad at him, they miss Alucard. Being tied against the tree like some dog gave them a lot of time to think.

If, no, when they get out of here, Pup wants to talk to Alucard. Pup is willing to give him another chance, they want to rekindle the bond they once had because they truly miss their father-figure.

Pup growled at Striga, who stands in front of them, as she holds the very cane she been beating them with. The two were in a arena of sorts, standing under the full moon’s light, surrounded by soldiers alike as they watched the two for their own amusement, cheering for their general. Pup glared at Striga, but Striga could see Pup shaking from exhaustion.

Striga raised the cane and Pup flinched as they closed their eyes, waiting for the impact to strike.

It never came because Pup hear shouts and feel heat around them. As they opened their eyes, they see themselves being separated from Striga by fire.
