My friends it is not enough to want something or to wish for something. You have to be willing to work for something. I started off 2016 with focus and what I thought was determination and commitment to achieve my goals. As the year progressed and my realities changed (hello new position at work), I lost focus. I channeled my energy on making my career work and left my personal goals to the wayside. Well HELLO 2017! You my friend are not going to distract me. I spent hours researching planners to select the one I believe will hold me accountable. I have now spent hours muling over my personal and professional goals to put pen to paper. It's just the beginning. Thanks to my handy dandy planner I have hours ahead of me to break them down into actionable steps to take each month, week and day. This year I am going to surprise myself.
