It’s set in year 6, HBP compliant for the most part. D & H are forced to become partners in Potions, it’s a slow burn but they end up bonding over time. Mainly because H feels pity for D as she can sense something is off about him. They meet in RoR a lot, I remember Draco crying to her a lot in there. They also start to hook up. D and HP get into the infamous bathroom fight and H is livid over it. D eventually confesses about the task and that he’s a death eater. He ends up deflecting towards the end and they take refuge with Tonks parents at a farm ?? There was a sequel at that point. I remember two authors were writing this… Hopefully someone recalls this, thanks.

I am looking for a 6th year fic, where Draco joins the golden trio after telling the truth to Dumbledore about his task. Dracos secretly has been in love with hermione for a long time. Harry and Ron believe Draco but it takes time for Hermione to accept draco. They eventually fall in love and there shpuld be near to no smut.
