The charge connects, and the bulwark she'd built crumbles as she's knocked back a solid two steps, almost tumbling backwards. He's moving faster then she can really react, and all that does is steel her resolve. She'd need to predict what he was about to do, and act before he did, correctly.

A follow up hit has her actually catching his arm, allowing him in close just so she can duck behind him and try to put him in a chokehold. He's far taller then her, but she had the benefit of a tyrant-level grip, and a virus that refused to let her quit while she was ahead.

Drunk af after my friend’s graduation ceremony and had an amazing time out with friends and then got home and now struggling with personal shit and cried for 30 seconds because of dumb shit that I probably need to bring up to a therapist but hahahahaha whatever am I right
Anyway I had a great time, I made sure my friend had a really good time (she did!!) and got to catch up with her fiancé who I pretty much never talk to but we get along really good
