Harry Potter, Luna Lovegood, Dobby.
Harry Potter: Tell us about a scar on your body
***TW*** - I have this scar on the inside of my left forearm near my elbow that says “F A D E”. It was engraved there during a time when I wanted my pain and hurt and loneliness to go away. I was also trying to be funny in a sick sort of way, because not all scars fade the way you want them to. It has indeed faded now, unless I drink wine and make my skin blush an unappealing splotchy red, but sometimes I’ll trace the letters and remind myself of how far I have come to allowing all kinds of my scars to heal properly.
Luna Lovegood: One thing that makes you different from everyone else
I could talk about the intricacy with which my neurons are firing to allow me to compose this reply in a timely, coherent, and elegant manner; I could talk about the delicately crafted vessels in my body that keep my life pulsing and existent. Everything that makes me in such awe of life is nothing really new or different. But I suppose the thing that makes me different from everyone else is the same thing that makes everyone else different from everyone else - no one else will ever feel, observe, think, speak, interact, act, understand, live, and love exactly the way I do. Isn’t that a crazy thought?
Dobby: Who are you most loyal to?
As a Christian, my goal is to one day be able to say my Father God. But I am not quite there yet, even though I want to be. Right now I am most loyal to myself, which sounds selfish (It is - I am working on it). But I think I am doing a semi-decent job of being quite loyal to my close friends and family. I do my best to be there for my friends and to be as supportive and helpful and funny as possible. You’d have to ask them if I am successful at that.
