on the rare occasion i see people discuss grapploct its over two different things:
it should be water/fighting (which i agree with and it a fair critique)
it going from punching to grabbing in its evolution was a bad choice
THE SECOND ONE SUCKS AND I COULDNT DISAGREE MORE! Clobbopus, clobber-octopus, the tantrum pokemon, it fires a bunch of hits without any strategy. it has strength but has no idea how to use it. like a little kid having a tantrum! Grapploct has strategy, it grabs its opponents. it uses it's strength to squeeze them. its smart, it uses it's strength in much smarter ways, like with octo lock!
i love you grapploct. your evolution line makes sense grapploct. they dont understand you........
