I was just thinking how funny it is that Ness’s signature move is called Rockin’ because when we first played it we chose our coolest thing to be Legos but forgot so we thought the entire time that it was called Legos and not Rockin’ ehehee wait did I tell you that already before oh well

There was one playthrough I did, it was my 3rd, where I decided to name everyone based off of some alternate default names for them in the Japanese version- more specifically, in the Japanese version, Ness could be Hat, Paula Ribbon, Jeff Glasses, and Poo Pigtail. However, there’s a character limit, so I called them Hat, Bow, Smart, and Hair instead. Then I called King Dog, Steak became Food, and Rockin’ became Thing. I remember it was the third because it was the first playthrough where I got the Sword of Kings lol

Alternatively, I’ve done similar things with the other games, too. For Earthbound Beginnings, I wanted to see if I could get everyone to level 99 (didn’t work tho :/), so to remind myself, I went a very Jock Villager From Animal Crossing route. Ninten became Biceps, Loid became Delts, Ana became Abs, Teddy became Glutes, and Prime Ribs became Protein Shake (abbreviated as Prot. Shake)
