I feel like I’m too much and I don’t know how to be less.
I am in my late teens and go to an extremely tiny rural school for reference
I have something undiagnosed like adhd or something which makes me obviously be different from my neurotypical friends. And usually it doesn’t affect our relationships but I feel like recently everything I say or do gets a reaction simlair to “you’re too much.” It’s not like I’m some crazy person who jumps into loving cars. The most crazy thing I do is trespass to climb a cool tree.
growing I had a phrase where I truly hated myself because people told me I’m too much and I’m afraid of that happening again.
I just don’t know what to do cause I. Feel bad whenever I think about speaking up but at the same time sometimes I know I’m a bit much (I’m a certified yapper), but I just don’t know how to turn off. I’m afraid to lose my friends because I can’t turn off my mind and thoughts.
Do you have any tips to help me manage my mind or how to bring it up to my friends?
also your mircofics are awesome and your a talented writer.

If someone thinks you're too much, then they're not good enough.
I know it's easier said than done, but there is NO reason why someone should judge you for liking to talk, or not being able to turn off your mind. And if they do, they're not good friends to have.
One trick I've learned, though, is if you're feeling self-conscious of your anxiety or talking, instead of apologizing, say "thank you."
I.e: "Thanks for listening to me talk!" "Thanks for always being there to let me rant!" "Thanks for being such a good friend!"
It's more positive for YOU because it gives you the message that you deserve the love, and it's positive to your friends because like...all friends need love too!
Also, if you ever need to 'yap' to someone, I'm here <3
