But do you guys know one of the things I love the most about Lorna's Veronica? Her delivery of the line: "Wake from this coma, take my diploma". TALENTED. BRILLIANT. INCREDIBLE. AMAZING. SHOW STOPPING. SPECTACULAR. NEVER THE SAME. TOTALLY UNIQUE. COMPLETELY NOT EVER BEEN DONE BEFORE.

Our trip to the Underworld
This was the only pic we took in our Orpheus and Eurydice cosplays. π Glad we at least have one.
John-Michael is just. Wow. His voice? I was blown away. His Orpheus, imo, is very hopeful, so you guys can infer how devastating it is when he turns around.
Gaby Moreno. That's it. Do I need to elaborate? She's everything. I already knew she would be, but still. Her Perrrrrrrsephone is perrrrrrfection (I'm so funny ha ha /j). Might be my favorite Persephone ever oop.
The fates??? I was ascending each time they sang. Those harmonies are an auditory drug, I swear.
Also I have to mention J. Harrison's Hermes, because the moment they walked on stage their presence was magnetic. They just know how to capture an audience's attention, and how to keep it. Another perfect casting.
Walking inside the theater was undescribable. Hadestown is one of my favorite musicals ever. I just couldn't fathom the fact I was there. I got teary eyed during Wait For Me (parenthesis for Marty: I forgot the name of the song when you asked me ha ha ":D) because of how overwhelmingly happy it made me that I could finally check that out of my bucket list.
Night falls in Santa Carla
Who hasn't heard about The Lost Boys Musical? If you haven't, you probably live under a rock and are doing better than the rest of us. /j
K, so to no one's surprise, The Palace Theater IS HUGE. What the fackity fack. I felt so tiny once inside lmao. Imo, our seats were pretty damn good. We were very close to the stage without getting high on the smoke machine lol.
TLB absolutely deserved those best scenic design and best lighting of a musical tonys. You will leave impressed by both by the end of the show. Also the stunts, it's just madness and I say that in the most positive sense. It's such a hilarious yet intriguing and heart touching show. I can definitely understand why it has gained so many fans and popularity. It deserves all the hype. And of course, the cast is simply outstanding in all aspects. Every. Single. One. Of. Them. Deserves to be there. They poured their heart outs in their performances. I just wouldn't be able to keep it brief if I discussed every actor (and that most definitely includes the ensemble, ho-ly). Anyway, I just know I'll have that album on repeat once it comes out. I have, for better or for worse, become one of you (wink wink).
I'll leave you with some pics of my Star cosplay that, welp, is not super accurate, but I'm still proud of it!
Elizabeth's graduation from Westerberg
So, initially, I was only planning on seeing Heathers once during the sing-along, but then Elizabeth announced she was leaving on the 21st and I'd be damned if I missed it!
It was amazing to be back at Westerberg, seeing the new cast, and to top it all, at front row! It's definitely the best way to experience the show, I was smiling throughout all of Beautiful. Like, guys, you don't understand: They sing the "homo, homo, homo!" line right at you! Isn't that the perfect way to celebrate pride month?!!! /silly
It was an emotional show for sure. Elizabeth's last Lifeboat was as impeccable as it has always been. Most people were either in cosplay or wearing yellow. We all made sure to give her a standing ovation, and that, along with Seventeen Reprise, and Jackera's speech, were such bittersweet moments. You can just tell the cast of Heathers genuinely loves and cares for each other. Some of the past actors were in the audience, actually. Overall, it was just really sweet, and I'm glad I decided to go.
One year of Westerberg in NYC
(Were you guys expecting J.D. and Veronica? SIKE! CHANSAW BEAM!!! /j)
And finally, Monday arrived. . . AND IT WAS RAINY AF FAAAAAHHHHHH. Since it would be an evening show, a certain someone and I decided to check out a few places I wanted to go to. Certain places, that weren't close by. And we got absolutely soaked. We were looking like two wet dogs roaming the city. And I definitely didn't have any murderous thoughts towards this certain someone for being so stubborn and continuing on despite our fate being oh so clear the further we walked. π /lh
But alas, we eventually made it back, and got ready for the show.
It was, once again, a great show. One year anniversary and Lisa's last (also Devin Cortez's, but allegedly, not really lol). Her improv? Oml, absolutely hilarious. I hope they recorded it and post it because wow. The Steves (yes, plural) were right behind us!!! And ofc, she got a standing ovation for it, as she deserved.
Regarding the sing-along itself, it went amazing. There's just something about hearing 499 fans singing all together. The energy was electrifying, and the sense of community was strong. I mean, I felt it at all times. Everyone offering to help you take pictures, complimenting each other on their cosplays, outfits, accesories, etc. It's not just Heathers, but the theater community as a whole. So I want to thank every single person that I got to meet on this trip. Moon, Alex, Grace, Captain, Ella, and anyone that might be escaping my mind right now; you were all incredibly friendly and kind. It was so nice to meet you in person. ^^ Also shout-out to the cast who, despite the pouring rain, still showed up and were willing to sign and take pictures. They absolutely didn't have to, but it was for sure not taken for granted.
Lastly, I want to publicly declare that I will be ending @themlpasouefan 's life for the whole walking 10 blocks in the pouring rain fiasco. /j
Jokes aside, no one deserves my gratitude more than Marty. This trip was so special because of him.
Marty, I think I thanked you enough when we said goodbye, but I want everyone to know just how much of a wonderful person you are. Not only did you arranged every single aspect of your trip so it would align with mine, but you went above and beyond to make sure I got to do and go to every single place I wanted; walked me to my hotel each time so I would be safe and sound; and gave me the courage and comfort I needed when my anxiety was getting the best of me.
I can't write this without having tears in my eyes, because it would've taken me deciding to let my fears win again, not creating imightbebeautiful, for us to never meet. Yet, because I did, here we are.
I'll treasure every single memory. Yes, even walking for so long under basically a storm. There's no one else I would've rather go through that, and everything else, than with you. And if I had the chance to do it all again, I would, in a heartbeat, without any changes.
I'm sure we'll see each other again. I'll look up from our dms once more, and you'll be walking through the doors, making me smile.

If you read this far, why? πππ That's like, a lot. /lh Kidding, I appreciate it sm! Thank you guys for giving me a space in which I feel safe enough to talk about my life; you're all the best. ^^ That's all! And now, back to our regularly scheduled programming of reblogging Jojo art non-stop mwahahaha. Bye!
If you wanna see vids go follow me on instagram @/annsannannas. I'll probably be posting some clips in my stories. Edit: Yeah so that never happened.
YOURE ALSO A JJBA FAN????? YAYAYAYYyaaYAYYAYAYAYYY
Me because I get to yap about Jojos!
I am a big big big big biiiiiiig Jojo fan. The story of the Joestars and the people they've met is one of the best I've ever witnessed. Through Jojos, Araki has truly left a mark in the world in so many ways. I had no idea how many well-known animes and videogames have been inspired by it. Not to mention the impact his artstyle has left on both art and fashion. A true full-circle moment when you know he took so much inspiration from them to create Jojos. The pop culture references are always a treat. Especially because nowadays they showcase how much things have changed over the decades.
David Production has made an amazing job animating each part too. The anime has managed to be faithful to the story in the manga while simultaneously creating its particularities we all look forward to when a new part comes out. For example, what song will they choose for the ending? We know it's always one Araki was listening to a lot at the time he worked on it. I won't even get into the absolute genius and works of art that are the openings. Shout-out to Kamikaze-Douga for the CGI ones and David Production for the part 4 and part 5 ones because they didn't miss!! And the music??? Each of the Jojos' themes are bangers! Plus, they represent their essence and journeys so well. The talent and musical knowledge that it takes to do that. Also, there's not a single opening that I dislike. Yeah, I have my ranking, but they're all S and A tier. Argue with the wall!
Jojos is so special to me. I will forever be grateful that my brother forced me to watch it on a random Christmas Eve. π
I'll list some of my favorite stuff bcs this is my post, and when else will I get to yap abt Jojos? Mwahahaha. /silly

You can't make this shit up. I was listening to yesterday's show omw to uni when my dead gay son began. Halfway through the song I spotted a freaking rainbow ππππ
I'm so emo. Tonight is Erin's last show, guys. π₯² She was my Martha on all 3 shows I had the privilege to see. The first time I heard her Kindergarten Boyfriend I was wonderstruck and on the verge of tears. I just know her last will be just as incredible as always. Ugh, I wish her the best. <3
