Here is the second of my pieces exploring energy, spirituality and masculinity entitled Apollo God of the Sun. Thanks to the amazing @yannidemelo for allowing me to use this incredible self portrait as my inspiration - always so easy to create with an inspiring muse! Apollo was twin to the Goddess of the Moon Artemis, famed for his radiance Apollo learned how to use his charm to get what he wanted, accruing the powers of prophecy, music and medicine by tricking various other minor gods of their discoveries and powers! Apollo’s own order of oracles - the Pythias and their Priests - where tricked into serving the Sun God when he guided them away from a fake storm that he had created by assuming the form of a Dolphin - hence his oracle being called the Delphic Oracle. Using land Apollo had claimed by slaying a serpent Earth goddess who previously resides there!
