Luka doesn't smoke, but he will buy cigarettes because sometimes Sampo does. mostly Sampo uses them as an excuse to leave during the night, so he feels flattered that Luka buys them for him but terrible that he's taking advantage of his kindness.
i think Seele hates that Luka is dating Sampo, but after a couple attempts to dissuade Luka from the man, she just.... sits back to watch. hoping for a trainwreck. Luka will sometimes mope around her when Sampo is AWOL, but can't entirely enjoy the misery of his choice when he's just so.... miserable. then of course she'll rip Sampo a new one for being such a terrible boyfriend.
Luka would really, really love if he could settle down and start a family. i think he's always wanted a little mini-me (to lavish with all the love and attention he felt bereft of as a child, and, yknow, all those remaining sad margie feelings?) but even though Sampo is great with kids.... i don't think he even wants to indulge in imagining it, maybe fearing he'd like it too much. (i think he's very tied to his solo merchant act and anything to disrupt that, sometimes even being in a relationship, is frightening.)

i think at least a few (maybe a sizeable chunk) of Yanqing's collection was given to him by Jing Yuan! he loves being able to pamper his little bird, but of course it has to be acceptable and not too over the top or Yanqing might whine about being treated like a child. not that it would stop Jing Yuan from making sure Yanqing's room is always full of pretty trinkets and good luck charms, embroidered pillows and matching blankets, tassels for his swords, fresh food and sweets and tea....
Yanqing's too old to be childish and crawl into Jing Yuan's bed at night, so it makes him content at least that most of the decorations in his room were from his general :]

So Luka and Yanqing reunite and Luka tells him that Mr Cold Feet is quite the heartbreaker and to be careful and not get his hopes up too much. And maybe then they kiss (sampo still wants them)
