Also super nice to get away from the city, at least as little as I can, and remember wtf a tree looks like!  Why is it that Scottish people will walk up any hill they see? Just for the lols?  Also I havent told the people in the photo I have posted this... but you can’t see their face so its chill right?

Today was interesting! So, I woke early to get to work early (always a mistake) got there at about eight, didn't get much done, got depressed at how shite I am. Spent the day with everything crashing (the software not my code) fell into more of a depression because I was being a helpless twat about it. The gaps between thinking about code and being frustrated at myself opened up all the little insecurities I have about myself.  Thankfully though, I had a wee cortado and it saved my mood slightly. The anxiety was still there but mostly social today. I suppose when you don't have confidence in yourself its hard to believe other people want to be around you. Yadayayada.  Anyways, I went to do something after work and a friend asked if I wanted to get dinner because he was going to be in Glasgow late and thank fuck he did! I grabbed an espresso and put on my best happy face for him! And, we had a really good time together. He probably saved me a little bit today.  Got home, played some lego star wars while I digested and then went out cycling! It was so good! I found a really nice route around the city I think its about 7 miles in total which is a nice cosy loop :) There was also a guy, on a bike too, that rolled up next to me to say hi and asked if I wanted to race. Of course, I did! But I pulled away from him really fast and he shouted: “leave no man behind”. Aw Glasgow, sometimes you scare me but these moments make me feel really happy! Now in bed feeling relatively happy today, hoping I get enough sleep to feel ok during work tomorrow.  I think sometimes I just need to remember that work isnt my life and I should just keep making the most of my time outside of work and try not to get down about work when things are slow. 

Monday again. This week is easier to face as it’s only a 4 day week 😁🙌🏼 #Yaldi #Monday #NewWeek
