Levels of mastery:
A) you are doing stuff and don’t know if any of it is wrong
B) you are doing stuff and can tell it’s wrong but not how or why
C) you are doing stuff and can tell what’s wrong and how to fix it
D) you are doing stuff and can see you are about to do something wrong and correct it before it’s a problem
The real key is that you can be at different levels for different problems or applications for the skill you are developing.
You may be a good weaver but suck at warping a loom, spinning thread or picking color combinations but that’s okay. The more work at something the deeper you go on the levels of mastery
