Yup, it's another one of these games I found in the 'related games' section below a few of the Yahoo Korea games I've played and shown off before on this blog. I was unsure if this game was also made by the same developer despite it having a similar art style (and it's also in Korean), but there's a logo that pops up right when you open the game and when I tried to run it through the camera in my Google Translate app, it was translating to things like 'doll play specialty site', 'little guys', 'self seed', and like a few other random things. This same logo can also be seen at the top right of the main dress-up screen.

I don't know, maybe someone who is more fluent in the Korean language and/or knows a bit more about the 2000s internet/web games in Korea can offer a bit more insight as to what exactly this is?? For all I know, it could very well also be related to Yahoo Korea/(Junior) Naver.

Dressing up the girl functions similarly to Beautiful Princess, another game I posted about previously that may or may not be made by a similar unknown Korean developer. You simply drag the clothing pieces onto the girl and just have to make sure they layer well instead of like, clicking/dragging and letting it snap into place. Unlike Beautiful Princess, though, you can't click on things you've already put onto her to layer stuff on top of something else.

Here's another game I found in the 'related games' section while I was playing other Yahoo Korea games! This one was uploaded to Y8 in 2007 just like a few other games by the same developer!

You get to dress a girl in a selection of flowing skirts, dresses, and other things that a dancer might wear! They're all quite pretty and I especially love this set I picked out with all the cute little bows.

Here's a game I found in the 'related games' section as I was playing some Yahoo Korea games. I was wondering if this was also made by the same (or at least a similar) developer, but there's no watermark or anything in this game to indicate who made it. It was uploaded to Y8 in 2007, though, so it could very well have been a Yahoo Korea-era game!!

You get to dress a girl in some pretty, Lolita-esque clothes, certainly befitting of a princess! I like that you can swap out her hairstyle for others as well. I don't really care much for the bonnets/headwear though, I know they're often used in Lolita fashion, but they're just..... not my taste. I would've maybe liked to see some crowns/tiaras in addition to them; it'd definitely fit the theme/name of this game.

Ooh, this one's a definite throwback!!! It was uploaded to Y8 in 2010 and I remember playing this a lot with a friend when we were younger. I actually was half-debating whether to include this game in this blog because it technically isn't a fully-fledged 'dress-up game' and there are other mini games included besides the dressing up portion, but nyeh, there's a dress-up portion in this game, so it fits for a blog where I'm focusing on playing and archiving dress up games. It counts in my book, sue me.

I might just cross-post this to my general childhood nostalgia sideblog for good measure...

The goal of this game is to play a bunch of mini games to win enough money to be able to design the best wedding possible! Sure, you still have the general customization mechanic of picking whatever you want, but the catch is it all costs MONEY. And to get a lot of money, you have to be decently good at the mini games.

Here are said mini games!! There's one where you have to hit a bouquet as far as possible, a spot-the-difference one, and another where you move the bride around to collect as much money as possible while avoiding bombs. I don't think the order of the mini games randomizes each run, you just play three of a certain order and then you get to design one part of the wedding. There are four parts total, so that means you're playing twelve mini games in all!!

The third game is definitely skill and reflex-based, I feel like the first one is luck-based (I swear I aimed high and tried to use as much power as possible, and in one run I managed to get pretty far - there are trampolines that can give you more air time, but in another run, I didn't hit any trampolines and got less money), and the spot-the-difference game is the bane of my existence. I never liked spot-the-difference games as a kid, and I don't like them now. For the life of me, I could only ever get four out of five differences and that was mostly from me just spam-clicking everywhere on the screen (you don't lose points/money or anything from doing that, thank goodness). I'm sure there are probably people in the comments attempting to give answers and/or a YouTube video or two out there of someone playing and finding all the differences, but I didn't really care to seek them out. I was just here for the dress-up part (and the other customization parts), honestly.

Besides dressing up the bride (and the groom), you get to pick and design the location of the wedding, design the dining area and choose food for the menu as well as customize the cake, and choose the best camera for photographs!

I learned the hard way that once you pick something, you ought to stick with it because swapping it out for something else actually SUBTRACTS from the money you've earned from the mini games (and you can't play them again or anything to get more, your money count resets before each customization section). You don't necessarily have to pick the most expensive items; you don't get like, a satisfaction rating from the couple based on your choices. If all else fails, you can just cheap out on the least-expensive items and put together a budget wedding!!

Also, for whatever reason, despite making sure the language of my game was set to English at the start, the menu selection part was in Spanish (maybe it was a glitch with the Ruffle/Flash emulator?? Not sure). I still basically understood it was just picking starters, entrées, and desserts, though.

Here's another game that kept showing up in the 'related games' area while I was playing some of the Yahoo Korea zodiac games. I'm a sucker for beautiful princess gowns, so I definitely had to give this one a try, and I'm glad I did!!

ALL of the clothing pieces in this game are beautiful and you can make plenty of nice combinations along with a pair of shoes and an accessory or two. You can see I made nine of these!!

Some of the crowns looked a bit clunky/big for my taste, but I can let that slide, honestly. I just really loved this game that much, lol.

When you open the game, you load right into the main dress-up section instead of clicking 'play' on an intro screen (like a lot of Yahoo Korea games have). You can dress the girl as usual, swap clothing/accessory pieces out for other ones, and the text at the bottom left with the cupcake next to it removes everything you've put on so far if you wanted to just start over. The button with the cat takes you to the end screen where you get to see the finished outfit you've created and the girl will comment on how much she likes it. Fortunately, unlike many other Yahoo Korea games I've played where the character sometimes isn't pleased with what I picked and calls their outfit 'ordinary', this girl will be happy with pretty much anything you put on for her... as long as you give her a dress or a top and bottom at minimum. If you say, just put her in a top or put nothing at all on her, she says something like 'am I pretty??? Are you sure????'.

There's also another button I haven't seen before until playing this game, a pink button with a shirt and arrow that translates to something like 'participate in contest'. It doesn't do anything when you click on it and I don't know if it did work or where it took you back when it was hosted on its original platform or uploaded to Y8 back in 2008.

This logo pops up when you open the game and before it loads into the main dress-up section of the game. Using the Google Translate camera on my phone, this logo says something like 'Naver Junior'. At first, I was unsure if this was related to Yahoo Korea (though the game itself uses the same sound effects as the other Yahoo Korea games), but 'Naver' is a South Korean online platform with a search engine, blogs, and other stuff similar to Yahoo. It seems like Naver and Yahoo Korea are pretty related though (although Yahoo Korea doesn't exist anymore and Naver Junior shut down literally just last year) so I'm tagging it accordingly.

Here's a game that kept showing up in the 'related games' section as I was scrolling down past the comments in the Yahoo Korea zodiac series games. The thumbnail spoke to me, so I had to check out this game!

As the title suggests, there's a handful of green clothing pieces to choose from as well as some in other colors. To me, this game absolutely RADIATES Y2K vibes... which checks out because it was uploaded to Y8 all the way back in 2007 (this actually predates most of the zodiac games by about a year)!!

This is a super cute game I found while searching for similarly-named Fruit Fairy titles from didigames. It's another one of these adorable Yahoo Korea games from the 2000s (this one was uploaded to Y8 in 2009)!

Upon exploring some more in the related games section on Y8, I found an earlier upload of this game in 2007 under the name 'Dancing Princess'! This one is probably the original and 'Fruit Fairy' is just a copy/reupload, oops.

I had to make three different outfits for this girl because all the clothing and accessory pieces are so cute with their fruit theme!!

Et finalement, we've reached the end of the Yahoo Korea zodiac dress up series!!!

Like the Sagittarius game posted directly before this one, Libra isn't included in Y8's curated 'Zodiac Sign Dressup' series collection for whatever reason, despite being uploaded to the site about a year before the games in that collection (2007 versus 2008 for most if not all of those games in the series). It's whatever, I guess... I'm still going to tag this under 'zodiac sign dressup' for convenience's sake. :)

Unfortunately, I felt like this particular game was one of the more 'meh' out of the zodiac games (I thought the Gemini one also didn't have a lot to work with)... I didn't really like ANY of the clothing pieces. Quite a bit of the dresses look too 'big' and baggy-looking, if that makes any sense. Even the pieces that look more casual just... didn't do it for me. The choices for accessories are still pretty cute and the shoes are okay, I guess.

And at least she was happy with the outfit I picked for her when I finished the game. Usually, these girls give me flack when I actually try to put something together even with limited/ugly options.
