honestly im mainly reading the hawthorne and ulla story for the fluff and drama. like the spicy bits are great, but i just wanted to emphasize that the parts you worried would be boring were actually my favorites. i love the worldbuilding, and the scenery descriptions. and literally like everything else lol

Thank you!! I’m rly glad to hear you like my stuff! Unfortunately I did like homestuck for a very short period a very long time ago (I was still in high school so like..... 8+ years) and it’s something I’ve left in the past and really don’t care for anymore. With that said I do think I remember what you’re talking abt, and yes I think homestuck was probably the first place I saw the idea of ‘humanoid insect-esque things end up with vestigial legs after molting/ not being larva’ but it’s not really inspired by or related to that, it’s just an idea that I think is fun on its own. I hope that clears things up!
who in their right mind is saying ogata should replace shiraishi. shiraishi is the HEART!!! hes IMPORTANT!! i havent even kept up with gk for several months but ogata is NOT part of the golden trio!! i know ogata stans have bad takes but christ
its actually the most popular gk opinion, that ogata is more important as a friend and confidant to asirpa + sugi than shiraishi is. some people will say it outright, but most will just show they feel that way by replacing shiraishi w ogata in otherwise golden trio fanart and meta, + acting like he just doesnt exist
he never got the recognition he deserved as a character and its the main reason i got exhausted by the fandom surrounding gk and gave up on it eventually
your designs remind me of those old ssswarriorcats videos and i LOVE that! i miss when the fandom used to make the cats unnaturally colorful and gave them hair and stuff. now it feels like they all have to be 100% realistic and while thats totally fine-!! its nice to have some wild and crazy designs too!! i especially like the more colorful/humanoid ones like bluestar and spottedleaf. makes my 5th grade self feel vindicated!! i hope this comes off as a compliment

I have no problem with youtubers getting sponsors and applying them in their videos. Even my favorite channels aren’t above doing this, and I don’t have much qualms with them doing so since making scratch isn’t a wrong thing. And while I have my issues with CrunchyRoll, I don’t care about anitubers being sponsored by them.
However, that video basically had my investment in appreciating Mob Psycho 100, an series I thoroughly enjoy myself and loved seeing people talk about it after what I felt was it being pretty underrated at first, only to, at the end, throw in his typical CrunchyRoll sponsorship like it was the punchline I was waiting for all along. That soiled my mood to put it lightly because he took my interest and tried to sell that back to me in such a somewhat solemn, crass ass way.
