The war had long since passed, nearly five-hundred years since the last antimatter device had destroyed what was left of planet earth. The animals and men that once called it as their home went in refuge. Spaceship-zero, formerly known as the USS-Commodore was one of these refuge ships that was fortunate enough to escape the anti-matter blasts. The people aboard just watched as mankind used technology meant to improve the lives of people around the world to kill. They had become the gods of death. Explosion after explosion, the world burned in the flame caused by the attack. Even in space, several stations were too close. They too were engulfed in fire. 

With nothing left but despair, the five titans convened. Each spaceship sent delegates to commit to an everlasting peace for the quest of human reclamation of dominance. Petty rivalry clouded the eyes of the negotiators, but was soon overcome by the sight of the horror that waited for them back at Earth. Nothing remained. Just the shell of a once lush and green world, now covered monochromatic colors of black and purple. Burns scarring the surface. The oceans gone. The Forests gone. Mankind gone. Eventually after half a year of constant delegations and drafts, a formal treaty was proposed and signed. It was the XWorld plan, a plan to explore the remainder of the solar system in a one way trip. 

The CSN (Chinese Space Navy) was tasked with settling on Mars under the XWorld plan, as the CSN fleet was the largest. Mars was habited already by human colonists, the bolster in men and women would only strengthen the existing population. Led by Xi Yon, the Chinese made their way to the Martian city of Mons. They were never heard from again. 

The RSF(Russia Space Fleet) was tasked under the XWorld plan to settle on the moon Titan. The delegates decided that because the RSF armada was the smallest, it would suit titan appropriately. The RSF stayed active but went silent five years earlier. 

The RSA(Royal Space Armada) was tasked with settling on Europa, Ganymede, the Moon, and Venus as designated by the XWorld plan. The RSA had the most military transports and personal ships out of any of the nations, and was tasked with the colonization of these planets. The RSA was proud to undergo such a challenge. It was their divine right to claim the most planets in the system. The CSN and RSF protested this proclamation, but they were convinced by the USF that having smaller more inhospitable planets would mean less survival and therefore less land for the RSA. The RSA went silent almost 250 years ago. 

The JEF(Japanese Exploration Fleet) was designated under the XWorld Plan to settle the outer planets, and to make an attempt at settling the gas giants. They were also give an alternative objective: make Earth survivable again. The JEF sent stations to Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto, and Earth. As the second largest fleet and the most advanced. The various engineers and scientists aboard the JEF were tasked with the most arduous tasks. JEF units went silent about a year ago, the last transmission was heard from earth. 

But finally, The USEF(United States Exploration Fleet was tasked the exploration of deep space. The fleet was designated to take a straight path to alpha Centauri. We were to go from there using a gravity assist to JEG-1, a planetary system potentially harboring survivable worlds. The USEF was filled with twelve Combat class destroyers, and two-hundred civilian transports. Since its departure from orbit over Earth, that number has shrunk to eight Combat class destroyers, and ninety civilian transports. The effect of interstellar travel has cost our fleet dearly. Every ten years or so, we lose another civilian transport to some malfunction or defect. Each time, another three-four hundred civilians die in the vacuum of space. I grew up here, so I know the feeling of being unbound. Space is infinite, but you are stuck seeing the ships in your fleet until we reach our destination.
