It is a constant butt of heads for control ever since they were chained together, a being manipulative and prideful, And Kyou ever stubborn. it’s always exhausting for both parties..which can lead to moments where there’s a stalemate, neither raising a hand to harm. its these times where Xul tries to coerce its human cage, playing on his emotions and past relationships with faux sympathy/concern

it has almost fooled him..too many times he’d like to admit, but he always remembers what this..thing..has done, to his friends, his loved ones, his home. a burning fire of determination broils in his heart at the thought of losing it all again, after all the progress he made. Giving him the strength to shut Xul out once more.
