hi guys!, I'm aware of the sudden lack in posts I've been making very consistently otherwise, don't fear, I'm not dead, I've simply had a lull in progress for the star scheme, I've mainly been toying around with programming which has been (mostly) fun i'll be back with posts soon, there's alot of the star scheme ahead, so in the mean time, take a look at bunnypede dentition, their front 4 incisors are probably bony extensions of the jaws (with some specialization in their internal structure), and their molars are like sort of mini jaws that can move relatively independently of their main jaws, evolved for mashing plant matter and small animals this MIGHT become my best summer in all honesty

here’s a silly animal I made for Spind, probably some tree dwelling super mantis that eats super large flying bugs. Many plants of Spind have something akin to super hydrophobic animal hair to absorb light instead of leaves (the stamen just look like phalluses😭)

also the alien was just bait for biographical info on the human you see here, Milos Illiam (They/Them) is the secondary protagonist of The Star Scheme, they are a biologist that much like their best friend, they were born just a couple years after humanity’s first contact. While they never got into aliens as much as Noah, they were still interested in learning about them in regards to their nature as a biologist.

They are a rather calm, collected, and tolerant person who tends to show an almost baffling degree of patience for people in one way or another, they are deeply empathetic, though has a hard time properly showing to all but their partner as since being a child, they were always unsociable. A significant ‘character flaw’ you could say is how non-confrontational they are, their difficulty with expression, and setting almost any kind of boundaries.

as could likely be inferred upon my choice of words, Milos gender neutral, appearing a bit androgynous. Though I carefully designed them to also possess masculine traits as I imagine they’re content with their masculinity despite identifying as gender neutral (it’s just style in their eyes… it’s also why I probably keep typing He/Him and promptly correcting myself💔)

I was bored so I drew my self and my friends, these aren’t their official avatars, these are just my interpretations, I’ve known them for a good long time

Expect many of these during all this early worldbuilding stuff, I’ll probably start numbering them after this.

Right now, my focus with the project is less making finalized stuff and crazy cool art pieces, and more so coming up with better, significantly improved designs that I will properly show off near the end of the year but here’s what’s going to happen—

Bunnypedes will probably look quite similar to how they did in the first full body, with a good few changes

Similarly, the Spidarrots are gonna get similar treatment (on top of being the sophonts to invent the warp hubs instead of Bunnypedes in respect of Hīgra)

Steedhorns will probably be changed to be more semi aquatic (but still very competent on land like moose)

Mergators will get the most drastic changes, looking more alien and their general concept being significantly changed (less like crocs and more like big coyotes)
