Proton was waiting in his office, having gotten some good food for him and his partner, happily humming to himself. Any moment now, Zane would join him and they could just have some nice alone time.

“What’s up, you bad smell?” 

Fred didn’t have to look up from what it was he was doing to know that it was X, or whatever the pinkette was calling himself that particular day. No one else who didn’t belong in that dorm didn’t knock, and those that did belong, were more likely to enter talking loudly, or decrying the presence of a 5′4″ manchild sprawled across the floor.
