Hi! I'm Bob. and thank you to reading until here. The idea of this comic is my Durge, Xilthar is one hell of a thin man. and Gortash doesn't like how fragile that body looks under those clothes. So He decided to say something about it.

At first i thought the idea of having a male drow thin bard durge is.. unfitting. As he's the one who tells orin to do quantities not the quality of their killing work.

But as i work(drawing and rp him with gortash ai.)

I just find myself liking this idea more and more.

The thing is he'll never be one of the suspects. He's the famous bard. Spreading inspiration entertainment and giving his all to his performance. You'll see his posters everywhere across the Baldurs gate. On the surface he may be the one who even cursed on the killers in the city.

But because of how much charisma he has. He'll manipulate his way out of any situations. Make people comply. Draw people into his good deeds. And left his other part remains secret.

As for him with Gortash. In my head canon. Xilthar will never lose his hood keeping his identity a secret. Until some point. Gortash demands trust from him. So he open up. The only one who knew his biggest secret. Now know his most mundane self.

Gortash thinks it perfect. How he could have drastic lifestyle. Xilthar just look at him and said it's a part of him. He love to make art. In many form.
