☼ “Wonderland? Eh, no, pardon. This is New York, United States? I think you may have gotten a bit confused there.” Gods knew he did, and very frequently by mortal lifestyles. Still, maybe he could try to help this girl who’s head had seemed to be flipped upside down till everything somehow (albeit barely) made sense.
“Uh...I don’t think there is a Wonderland anywhere nearby. Sorry about that. I’m not a native here, so uh....I guess I wouldn’t know.” Though she couldn’t have been too much older than a young woman, maybe twelve or so, and very curious for that. Light blond curls and a fairly nice manner of dress. It seemed she wasn’t from here herself. At least she wasn’t the only one.
“You seem pretty confused. Here, I don’t know where you are headed to, but let’s try a library. Certainly, someone would have a better idea.” And not mug them of their money, though now that his powers were back, he wasn’t so afraid of walking the New York streets anymore.
Though before he had a chance to forget, standing at least a good foot over her, he offered a hand and a small smile. “The name’s Apollo. What’s yours?” He feared that maybe she was ill-- that wasn’t very well for street traveling.
He’d stick around till she got home, or wherever she needed to be, safe. Then he could go back to one of the late night jazz club before crashing for the night. Certainly, someone her age should not have been walking alone coming this time of evening.
