I forgot how hot these two were throughout the whole airing of this show. I'd bang them both with enthusiasm or more like I'd let them bang me.

It's crazy how casual and normal Cigarette man is in this episode. He looks like a normal white dude. Though I was immediately uneasy realizing that he was in the same room as Scully, especially knowing what I know he does to her.
Also, can someone answer me this. When Cigarette man puts away the metal casing along with similar ones in a secret room at the Pentagon, it obviously implies that this has happened before, but I wonder if it also implies that these might be the casings of Billy's friends that were abducted as well? Just because of the way they were grouped together.
I nearly melted when Scully rushed to Mulder's hotel room to get confirmation about the bumps on her back. The way he spoke so softly to her and her immediately seeking comfort from him. It really is a lovely foreshadowing of what their relationship will be like over the course of nine seasons.
There was also this moment of attraction from him like he was kind of dazed by her. I swooned.
Along that same vein, every time they looked at each other, wow, I felt like they were gonna kiss. The chemistry between them was insane.
Throughout this entire thing, I just kept thinking that if it wasn't for the fact we're riding alongside Scully and Mulder, but also aware of the third parties that try to thwart their evidence, we could easily mistake the case as an occultish murder. Billy hearing voices, "killing" off his friends one by one, the strange markings, and certain members of the town hushing it down.
Actually, it would be a great AU. Mulder is so convinced that it's aliens that he doesn't realize that it's a cult until it's too late, and now he and scully are being hunted. This might be an xfiles already. i cant remember, lol I hope there's fanfiction of it at least.
Don't know if I'll watch the whole show again, but maybe I'll finish season 1 at least.

Silence of the Lambs meets Twin Peaks as inspired by Horror Films.
Okay it starts off very twin peaksy almost. Some girl is running through the woods being chased in her nightgown. Obviously it's some sort of alien that's chasing her. But this whole beginning just reminds me of twin peaks. Dark and mysterious. Some young woman being chased by a monster in the middle of the woods. Anyone know if this was inspired by twin peaks? Or did this take place at the same time as twin peaks. I know what's the '90s but I don't know when in the '90s.
So she was abducted by aliens. Okay so she wasn't abducted she was killed. Buy some alien that looks like a human.
Why does the FBI building lobby look like an airport?
The show was totally inspired by silence. The lambs Young female FBI agent plus murder plus aliens. But I guess silence of the lambs with aliens instead of serial killers. Or just serial killer aliens.
I don't really remember what I've seen Gillian Anderson in but my goodness she looks and sounds so young here. Isn't she British? Or I'm just thinking that she is?
I've completely forgotten that David duchovny's characters name is Fox. What the hell kind of name is Fox?
I forgotten how much everyone chain smokes in these '90s shows. Like it was the 1950s is a yet again. And smoking was cool and fashionable and mysterious.
Oh God that music is terrible. So dated. Makes me want to think that I'm watching the fugitive. So early '90s. Well from that poster, I'm guessing that fox mulder is the believer and then Scully is the skeptic. Because one of the few things that I did know of the show is that but I didn't remember which one was which.
So basically the big bosses want her to spy on him but they don't actually say that directly. And it seems like she admires his work.
That's the most turbulent plane I've ever seen and he's just laying there like it's just another damn day. Meanwhile, I'd be like Scully you and peeing my pants. They are trying way to hard here.
She's a medical doctor. Why would she be squeamish about those sort of things?

So far the production quality seems pretty good.

Course this local sheriff would have one of those big wheelers from the '90s.

So his sister was abducted and that's what he believes and that's why he is obsessed with the X-Files. Okay, so she wasn't abducted by aliens but she just disappeared but she was totally abducted by aliens. They just didn't know what had happened to her. I guess he was just fascinated by the weird shit. Because who isn't?
So whenever he wants to access information he can't because somebody higher than him is blocking him. Oh maybe the government is in league with aliens? Or they know about the aliens and don't want that information getting out.
I love a good conspiracy. Because I feel like the best thing about these types of shows. Like Stargate is the best plot lines involve the government interfering. Mysterious plot lines like conspiracies like this.
The production quality on the show is pretty amazing. The cinematography isn't something that stands out but it's noticeable.
Chick: I'm going to die aren't I? I'm going to be next.

So what the parents are in on this? For some reason. The aliens are abducting and experimenting on their kids.
They're about to go dig up some graves and the dead of night.
So Mulder thinks that the chick was killed by the dude in the hospital. So why does he think that? Is he faking? Is he an alien? What exactly is going on?
So weight watchers has got celebrity spokespeople now. And weight watchers has changed their name to WW to hide their old reputation of being complete shit. I love how he's talking to people that don't need to lose weight.

So this kid suddenly isn't in a coma anymore and all of the girls in this town have the same nightgown? I guess the alien sent back the real kid because Mulder and Scully were sniffing around. Of course Scully as a skeptic had to miss everything that happened.
So who is this Walter Matthau type guy? They keep highlighting him going into the Chiefs office but not saying anything.

Always so he put the evidence in the Pentagon. It's not the FBI... So who is this guy and what's his agenda ? Why did he take the evidence? Is he an alien too?
Finally thoughts: I enjoyed it... Thought Mulder was kind of an ass in the beginning... And he's a bit too much of a Gary stew
