Welp, we’re six issues into X-Factor and Scott still hasn’t told Jean he’s married with a kid. That’s called STRINGING HER ALONG. Grow some testicles, fucker, and tell your ex-girlfriend you are married so she can MOVE ON WITH HER GOD DAMN LIFE. I’ve never been too incredibly clear on the nature of Apocalypse’s powers. He’s immortal? He can kind of stretch his body like Dhalsim from Street Fighter? He’s uh… really good at molecular biology? I don’t know. In this issue, his first full appearance, it’s stated that he can “rearrange and restructure” the molecules of his body. Ooooook. So he’s kinda like the Molecule Man, except just for his own body. Which means he can make himself new outfits and stuff. Doesn’t really seem all that menacing. (X-Factor #6 – July 1986)

Geez look at that stink face on Scott. Amid all of the sexy laundry getting aired between him, Jean, and Warren during battle, Scott noticed the shape of the Phoenix hovering around Jean. What does it mean??? (X-Factor #6 – July 1986)

I don’t think that Apocalypse making his getaway on that slowly descending platform is having the menacing effect he was hoping for. Like, it’d be funny if the platform got stuck part way down during his speech about how they shouldn’t search for him because he’s impossible to find. (X-Factor #6 – July 1986)
