the one thing I find hardest about getting back into witchcraft and actually having the time to do research is taking notes I don’t know why I find it so difficult. It might be because I’m used to taking notes in school and knowing exactly what to write down and with this it’s purely my own interests and I can choose what I want to write down and keep- and maybe because there’s just such a wide range of things to learn that I don’t really know where to start. I’m re learning how I best learn things and it’s honestly a pretty slow process but, as long as I’m learning something right?

on the one hand, Gems are not human and because of the differences between them and humans, its not entirely accurate to put a human psychological respone to all a Gem’s actions
on the other hand, one of those ways Gems differ is that they are extremely collectivist by habit, inclination and social custom, in a way that is inhuman. in homeworld, it is toxically so, and only recently fixed. on earth, it is still present: even the crystal gems define themselves exclusively by their function and role to the rest of the group: Amethyst has a breakdown when she realizes she is far weaker than a Quartz should be and her purpose as the team’s muscle is no longer applicable, while every single Gem shown defines their personhood, their identity, based on their role within the larger family dynamic. Even Steven does this!
so for Spinel’s abannment, is being left alone for 6000 years less psychologically stressful than it would be for a human
or worse?
After all, all alone, without anyone else, abandoned and left behind, what purpose has a friend who is now compelled to hurt people to make herself feel better?
“I’m supposed to be a friend. Why do I want to hurt you?”
It’s possible that this is Spinel suffering severe dissonance between her need to make someone suffer to make herself feel bigger and better, and her purpose to be a companion.
perhaps Gems have a psychological need, as essential to their mental health as a human’s need for safety and shelter, to fulfill their own purpose?

I already see so many (beautiful) posts from people excited to put their favorite copyrighted characters in Tomodachi Life LTD BUT the ones who are truly getting the most wins from this game? OC creators! OCs are the reason I love games like the Sims and the original Tomodachi Life. It's so cool having an outlet for your characters where you don't actually have to draw or write anything. AND HOLY MOLY this new game has everything I yearned for and THEN SOME
The gender and dating preference options means that our OCs can have their accurate genders, preferences, and relationships! No more purposefully misgendering half of a same sex couple just to make them romantic!
The improved and absurdly in-depth Mii Maker will let us make ALL of our characters on-model, including non-humans! (I'M GONNA MAKE SO MANY ALIENS)
Up to 8 miis living together means we can group canon friend groups, roommates, families, or just characters that share a canon
