I'm not an astrologer so please take these notes with a grain of salt. Everything is based on my own personal experiences and observations.
And I've tried my best to put it on the table as it is cause in my opinion we often idealise good aspects and ignore the difficult ones or romanticise the difficult ones and ignore the easier ones according to our own convenience. Which is not beneficial in a long run.
So yeah, not every mars opposite venus has that explosive attraction. Sometimes its just constant disagreements and rising insecurities within the relationship, which again, may apply to you or may not.

°~☆ Venus Square Pluto in worst cases is a down bad evil and dark placement to have in synastry. You'd expect Pluto to be possessive, obsessed and corrupting Venus. But have you seen Venus getting triggered? Triggered Venus is legit another form of Lilith. And when lilith doesn't get what she wants...she destroys it instead. Very vengeful. Can't stay happy together and won't let you stay happy while being apart either.
For ex. I had this synastry with a guy and after we ended things, he didn't react at all. But as soon as he knew I was interested in someone else, his behavior completely changed. He became clingy, warned me to stay away from that dude and started picking fights. When I stood my ground regardless, he schemed in silence. Only after completely ruining my relationship did he finally find peace. Irony is, he didn't really want me, he just couldn't watch someone else having me.

Here, moon can notice even the slightest bit of change in ascendant person's mood just by existing together. Like how Psyche had mind to mind link, moon is more of an instinct based connection, being fully aware of each others habits and even smallest indifferences. Very nurturing and caring.
°~☆ The only guy I ever saw a future with— holding hands together as we grow old and building a home and a family together, had his IC conjuct my Northnode. It always felt so natural like it was meant to be. His home felt like where I truly belong and he felt the same. Its kinda cute when you wanna be professional and personal at the same time. This couple thinks no one notices cause they control their PDA to the max but its actually the opposite. Everyone notices, thanks to the 10th house. Words of mercury can literally have a huge impact on the house person's image. Usually house person avoids the PDA but I've seen mercury gossip a lot about house person. Not so private After all. Might seem detached at points but not private.

°~☆ Pluto conjunct asteroid Bacchus in synastry is a drug. Sexual symphony is so high that it can overpower psychological hold of conscience. Everything seems perfect as long as you both spend time together. But this can lead to a cycle through explosive highs and crushing lows. Often mistaking drama for depth. Depending on what the Pluto is in, can indicate how Pluto deals with the jealousy and control issues when it comes to Bacchus person. The least detectable sign according to me is Sagittarius because they play it so cool that you will only realise it once everything starts piling up and they explode. Also, what I've experienced is that there is always some theme of secrecy and betrayal with the Pluto person in this synastry. Always remember not all dark obsessive placements scream dark romance. Some also hint at pain, betrayals, psychological trauma and boundary less behaviors which will not end up being nice for you. This placement is extremely sexual but also taboo.
