linktrap port
Function
The linktrap port command is used to enable or disable the link trap function of the xDSL port. You can use this command to configured whether link status traps of a specified port or all ports are reported, so that to enable or disable the NMS to or from monitoring xDSL port status.
Format
linktrap port { default | frameid/slotid/portid } { disable | enable }
Parameters

default
Indicates that the configuration for link status traps takes effect on all xDSL ports by default, that is, the link status trap function of all ports will be changed.

frameid/slotid/portid
Indicates the shelf number, slot number and port number. Enter a slash (/) between the shelf, slot and port numbers. When you need to enable or disable the function of the link status trap of a specified port, use this parameter.

enable
Enables the link status traps to be sent to the NMS.

disable
Disables link status traps from being sent to the NMS. It is the default setting.

Example
To disable the link status trap of VDSL port 0/3/0, do as follows:
huawei(config)#linktrap port { default<K>|frameid/slotid/portid<S><Length 5-18> }:0/3/0 { disable<K>|enable<K> }:enable Command: linktrap port 0/3/0 enable
To disable the link trap function for all ports, do as follows:
huawei(config)#linktrap port { default<K>|frameid/slotid/portid<S><Length 5-18> }:default { disable<K>|enable<K> }:disable Command: linktrap port default disable This operation will change link trap setting of all the ports, are you sure to continue? (y/n)[n]:y
System Response
The system does not display any message after the command is executed successfully.
