Marisol Luciana Rodriguez turned 19 years old on August 28. She’s a Sophomore at Rosewood University in Greensville. Her face claim is Becky G. 

Marisol Luciana Rodriguez was born in Bedford–Stuyvesant, Brooklyn; not one of the ideal breeding grounds for hipsters, but one of the toughest neighborhoods in the country. Standing at four-eleven and only weighing ninety-nine pounds Marisol doesn’t seem very intimidating; her sunny, playful, disposition doesn’t really help either. Marisol is a secret weapon, though, watching the gang violence and the drugs being pushed in her neighborhood toughened her up. It also set her career in motion as a drug counselor; ironically Marisol has never touched the stuff, she knows better than that.  She has addictions of her own, though, excitement and adrenaline, even though she sees those more as healthy outlets for her energy. Marisol started running track to maybe one day get a scholarship to raise the burden off her even supportive parents who already cared for an autistic son. She also started getting experience in her major by volunteering at a drug counseling facility where she met Matthew Stark, he wasn’t at his best at the time. Usually he had his head in a toilet or was swearing at a nurse, she for lack of a better word thought he was a prick. However, one day the two struck up a conversation and bonded over their school athletic careers. He’s actually where she got the idea to move to Greensville, North Carolina; after seeing the supreme landscape. However, the town seems a little too quiet, can she make it a bit louder? Or maybe finally settle down a little to finally observe the world around her.

Matthew Russell Stark is eighteen years old and a Freshman at Rosewood University.

Matthew Russell Stark was born in Harlem, New York to Violetta Morgan and Matthew Russell Stark Sr; affectionately going by Matty to his parents, Matthew had what he considered a “normal” childhood. A somewhat introverted boy, who was far from athletic Matthew always found his joy in literature and classical music. Both became his security blanket, especially at age sixteen when he and Matthew Senior were in a car accident; resulting in Matthew completely shattering his leg and the loss of his father in a way. Matthew Senior sustained frontal lobe damage which completely changed his personality; the man loss complete control, becoming hypersexual and not being able to control his mouth. Soon his father was placed in assisted living, due to his mother being unable to care for him and keep a part time job. The severe pain from losing the father he always knew and the chronic pain sustained from his injuries caused Matthew to turn to his prescribed painkillers which soon became an addiction. The boy turned away from his love books and music and turned to a life of crime to feed his addiction when his prescription ran out; he turned to breaking and entering and stealing from the rich neighborhoods and his mother’s medical practice. Until one day he was caught by one of his mother’s associates; Violetta gave him a choice, she could call the police or he could go to rehab. Matthew chose the latter, where he rediscovered his love of literature and made the decision to go to school and major in Library Sciences to eventually become a librarian. Needing a fresh start from his dangerous past, Violetta and Matthew moved to Greensville, North Carolina to be closer to Matthew’s family, including his cousin Jeremy. Though, he still struggles with his demons Matthew is doing well and will do everything in his power to move forward.
