The Masked Empire book synopsis states: 'But in the end, the elves who hide in the forests or starve in the alienages may decide the fate of the masked empire.' Do you think that this will play any part in Inquisition since Orlais is part of where you travel? Or do you think that this would be used for a future game, since there is a five game plan? After all, if the Mages are freed from the Chantry and their oppressors, the Elves will look and say they are done being oppressed as well, right?
Val Royeaux, Orlais’ capital, has the biggest and most crowded alienage in all of Thedas with, “Ten-thousand elves living in an area roughly the size of the Denerim market.”
The Dales, the elven homeland, are very close to Orlais as well…
So yes! I do think elves will have at least some sort of role in DA:I, especially since Orlais is too preoccupied with a civil war to watch the elves. And with no Circle, the elven mages are free too.
It looks like the Civil War, Ferelden, the Fade, the voided Nevarran Accord, and maybe Tevinter will be a big part of DA:I though. So the elven conflicts could very well seep into future games? We’ll have to find out! c:
