xarditional is like. what if you had this coworker who was nice but so nondescript that all you really know about him is that he has a degree in communications and that he likes men. and then one day he brings in a hulking alien in a lab coat and introduces him as his boyfriend completely casually. and the alien calls you a bitch.

xar and addi v in xar’s intro scene rocks. xar watching commercials on tv, losing his clothes, blowing himself up, and then confidently saying, “I just had a terrible thought of someone getting so scared their clothes fell off and they died, luckily that is impossible.” addi going “vortigaunts are friendly, especially this one!” as xar is openly hostile to gordon. “the vortigaunts are a little… abstract” vs “ADDITIONAL VOICES IS THE MOST NORMAL PERSON I KNOW!” addi v vaguely protesting but not making any efforts to stop xar from sticking his hand in fire. legendary character combo

addition to xarditional: addi v is secretly a huge freak but whenever he says anything offbeat and gordon goes “what?” xar jumps in like “what is wrong with you gorgon you can’t talk to him like that. he is literally so normal. he is the most normal guy i know. why are you being weird? perhaps it is you that is the freak.”
