Your muse crying about something                

A better man might have looked at the young woman who was currently damp with tears and thought she was even more beautiful than usual. Quivering lip and all. Stel, on the other hand, couldn’t help but physically contort his face into something akin to discomfort. Yet, the angel didn’t distance himself from the girl, no… this had been building up through the evening. Sometimes the man just wanted to grab a drink somewhere other than his own bar. That’s when Adriel popped up. Bought herself a drink (as if he’d offer) and his ‘hm’s’ and ‘uhuh’s’ gave the impression of an avid listening. Perhaps she was just really looking for company. No matter what form it came in.

A better man would have consoled her with another drink, physical touch, and comforting words. Stel did the first two. A drink, because anyone sputtering like that needed one, and a pat to her slender shoulder as he remained sat on his stool. Why was she crying again?
