consider getting a FiiO X1 or X3-II Digital Audio Player, and a pair of Meze 12 Classics or HIFIMAN RE-400 in-ear headphones for music use. Very long battery life and excellent sound quality. The RE-400s can be a little light on bass but very detailed

I just have a PC with half-decent speakers. An ASUS X551CA, if you’re interested. It’s actually got really good sound. Apparently it uses something called ASUS SonicMaster, which unfortunately does not employ Chaos Emeralds in its manufacture.
