[2:50am] "I have a confession to make." The boy next to you spoke up. A spark of interest had lightened up in your mind. Confessions were a normal thing at you and Hyeong Jun's weekly sleep overs but still to this day, curiousness rattled your mind each time the teenager had a thought to unravel. Your sleep overs would usually include a lot of giggling, movie watching and binge eating. Even with all of these fun things, your favorite part of the night always remained the deep talks you would have before drifting off to sleep.
"I think I..." You patiently watched him, waiting for him to continue. Feeling the pressure of your eyes on him, he shook his head and grinned weakly. "Nevermind, this isn't important." You frowned, pulling on the sleeve of his sweater.
"Every thing you say is important to me. We tell each other everything for a reason. Nothing you will ever say will be unimportant to me." You smiled warmly to him. He sighed before locking his round eyes with yours.
"I think I like you" Wait what? You ears must've heard wrong. Your long term best friend, Hyeong Jun likes you? Impossible.
"Wait no- I know I like you." He corrected himself. Searching his face to find any sign that he was joking, you mouth hung open as the temperature in your face rise through the roof, too taken aback to say anything. Hyeong Jun cheeks turned a crimson red, hiding himself behind a pillow, shame creeping up on him.
"I should'nt have said anything." You could barely hear his words, muffeled by the plushy fabric held tightly to his face. Mustering up all the courage that you could, you half whispered these next few words.
"I-I like you too..." Your stomach churned so much you felt as if it was going to explode. Before you knew it, Hyeong Jun had tossed the pillow to the ground and threw himself at you, attacking you with the biggest hug you had ever received.
