/he tries to park his vehicle as inconspicuously as possible outside her building before hurrying out to the trunk, burying his face into it as he struggles with the surprise he has in store for her. after a moment (or few, in fact), he finally succeeds with a forehead full of sweat and tucks the strings under his arm while he attempts to fix his hair. he spares another moment to untangle the strings as he carefully grips them, releasing the balloons into the air before striding up to her door. clearing his throat, he then rings the bell and feigns a gruff voice to disguise his own while he strikes a pose in anticipation for her arrival/ Maâam, youâve got a package.
/while he waits patiently, he begins to worry about how ridiculous this must be to her; how old is she anyway! however, itâs far too late for him to change his mind and besides, he thinks to himself, itâs helium balloons, who doesnât like helium balloons, sheâs like a kid, she should like them right, and she told me not to get her gifts so isnât this perfect, other than food of course, but yeah, itâs good right, good, no? good, good. by the time he reaches a conclusion, he has already been frozen for a good while and has spaced out completely/

     Turning his head in the direction where the voice came from, he noticed that the source of the compliment came from an unknown male. For some strange reason, the consulting detective couldnât help but have an uncanny feeling as if he had seen him somewhere before. Yet, in spite of his inklings, he couldnât set his fingers on exactly where from. Nevertheless, he accepted the compliment from the stranger with a polite nod. There's no reason to reject it anyway.
