#wylan barks

I honestly dont remember a ton since it was so long ago,, but i do remember feeling very euphoric and dysphoric at the same time. because of other stuff going on in my life, i had terrible species dysphoria where i wanted nothing more than to become a dog/wolf and get away from human society. at the same time i was discovering a part of myself and that alone was a great feeling. so kind of a mixed bag of emotions i think

hmmm.. not that i can think of off the top of my head. im usually pretty chill about my kintypes because i know theres not much i can do to prevent having one. i guess theres a few fiction synpaths im a little embarrassed of but not full kintypes. in the past, something that was a little hard for me to accept was being canine cladotherian, because i felt SO extra for being kin w literally every canine species. but fuck it we ball. now ive accepted that im just dog (chronically)

i believe i found out i was wolfkin way back when i was around 10-12 (im horrible at estimating my age but thats my best guess). i remember it was at the peak of "cringe culture", and that exposed me to both otherkin/therians and furries. and through that i realized i was a wolf therian and that i wanted to be a furry, too. however i didnt actively think about being a therian (probably due to how 'cringe' it was) despite knowing i was until a few more years after that, and then a couple of years ago i had yet another awakening of spiritual fictionkin stuff and i began thinking about my otherkin identities more seriously at that time, too

then i realized that daemons are literally just "a divinity or supernatural being of a nature between gods and humans." which fits for sure. just to avoid confusion i'll probably call myself daemonkin, or spiritkin :')
