29 and 38 for your OC(s)?

29. âWhat do they do when they find out someoneâs fear? tease them, get very prtotective?â Willâs greatest fear at this point, in 1917, is that heâll let down his company, fail in his duty as their leader, but even more so, that heâll die and never get to Sarah or his family again. He canât really do much for the latter except continue to correspond, to tell her as much as he can without incurring the wrath of the censors. For the former, he can help the new recruits adjust to trench life: learn to identify where a shell will land and what type, how to conduct a raid without every thing going âtits upâ, and just in general keeping a cool head. Fear is the biggest killer - though the Jerries certainly arenât lagging behind!
38. âWhat do they admire in others? what talents do they wish they hadâ Sarah wishes she were slightly more ⌠assertive, like her sister, though they both have their fatherâs stubbornness, one of the few things they have in common honestly. Will simply wishes he could be more outgoing, like his youngest siblings Lionel and Margret (well, just Margret now). It would certainly help him get to know his troops better. itâs not that heâs cold or aloof, itâs just that CSM Moran, god bless âim, was there for him from the start when he first took over the company. The manâs a one of a kind, and Will worries how he might fair should the sergeant major be killed.
